How Data is Synced between Payroll Hub and Zoho

1.      Zoho People to Payroll Hub
  1.  We’ll sync various Zoho People modules with Payroll Hub like Employees, Location, Leaves, Time-sheet, and Expenses.
  2.  You should change the field mapping before enabling the sync
  3.  We’ll sync the data based on your field mapping.
  4.  You can refer our help document and help video to map the fields.

  7. Data sync will happen in the following types
    1. Periodic Sync - It will every day on 12 am UTC
    2. Manual Sync -  You can sync the data manually by click on Sync button in Payroll Hub setting.
 2.      Payroll Hub to Zoho People
  1. We’ll sync time-sheet from Payroll Hub to Zoho People to enable automatic invoices of clients and compare timesheets to rostered time.
  2. While creating KeyPay time-sheet, we’ll create an employee in Zoho People if an employee doesn’t exist and also we’ll create a  default job in Zoho People
  3. You should change the job before sending  invoices to clients.
  4. We’ll use your field mapping to sync time-sheet and employee from KeyPay to Zoho People.
  5. Data sync will happen in the following type
    1. Periodic Sync - It will every day on 12 am UTC.
    2. Manual Sync - You can sync the data manually by click on Sync button in Payroll Hub setting.
3.      Payroll Hub to Zoho Books
  1. We’ll sync salary payment of employees from Payroll Hub to Zoho Books as manual journals.
  2. You should map the chart of accounts with payment types before enabling the sync.
  3. We’ll create the manual journals as an individual or group of salary payments based on your Payroll Hub configuration.
  4. Data sync will happen in the following types
    1. Periodic Sync - It will every 6 hours.
    2. Manual Sync - You can sync the data manually by click on Sync button in Payroll Hub setting
4.       When the ‘Sync’ button will be disabled in Payroll Hub Setting?
  1. When there is no module enabled for data syncing.
  2. When you have more employees than in your subscription in Payroll Hub.

Note: You can see the sync errors in error logs, which you can access from Payroll Hub setting.
